- If you travel abroad, the international license is essential to be in good standing in many countries. You can get it easily. All you have to do is request it from your town hall or prefecture. This international permit is free and valid for 3 years.
- Look carefully at the details of the commercial offer, especially the insurance included . Do not hesitate to compare the rates between the different rental agencies.
- Find out about the payment terms. Usually, a sum of money ( deposit ) will be blocked on your bank card. At the end of the rental, you are then released the sum (less the amount of the rental). You must therefore plan and think about funding your account accordingly. If damage is noted on the car, it is on this deposit that the agency will use.
- Do not forget to carry out a complete inventory of the vehicle when picking up the vehicle. Take your time to seriously check the body, the windshield, the tires, etc… For information, we always take some photos of the exterior of the car to justify the previous presence of scratches or other dents.
